Jump Temp

When you're stuck in one place too long you feel a pressure to disappear. Everyone feels it for one reason or another. On a starship you can outrun your past.

Jump Temp is a Space Opera TTRPG that does everything it can to lean toward "hard" science fiction. There is "one big lie" reserved for the fictional Jump Drive but even the drive does everything it can to make the setting possible. Most concepts of FTL drive in real life would turn a freighter into a potential weapon of mass destruction. The Jump Temp tries to make the ships as non-worldexplodey as possible. If the average tramp freighter captain could blow up a city or a planet when their significant other left them, you really can't have a traditional space opera.

Jump Temp uses the Energy System. It uses depleting dice pools to resolve challenges and to describe resource consumption in a way that doesn't require very much math.
